Anyone else having trouble with the DP Keyword tracker tool?

over the last couple of days, all of my rankings for over 60 keywords dropped out of top 200 with the DP keyword tool.

I freaked

Until I checked the rankings visually myself and all it at it should be


Is something wrong with this tool or the Google API

 

I think they're improving/making changes with the keyword tool.

 

This kind of error happens now and then ... sometime you observe -950 ...but when you manually check ...the SERP is at 50 itself.

 

the problem is the "error" has occured for several days now.

and it is even the same result when using the Firefox Keyword Addon

but if I use some other ones I haev seen posted recently on DP threads, the SERPs are right

does anyone know for sure if DP is working on theirs because it sure would ease my soul?

especially on since next weeek I was going to start offering link building work.

 

I've never used it.. try the adwords keyword tool

 

not the keyword suggestion tool, the ranking monitor that tells you where on the search engine pages your site ranks for keywords

I am seeing the same thing...I track about 55 keywords using ranking monitor and they all show a rank of N/A but when I check google the rankings have not changed.

Hopefully this will be fixed.

In the meantime is there a free ranking monitor anyone here would recommend? How is the FF one?

The FF one is giving me the same results but they are there in Google and i have had people around the world check

if anyone knows of another , even a good pay one please let me know

 

Mine have been fluctuating up and down for days. Today my rankings dropped off completely for all my sites.

This can be very frustrating, but manual intervention always eases my fears.

 

I get 100 keyword checks back then the rest drop off the map. If I try to check one by itself after checking them all I get a message stating I've used the quota of my API key. Maybe Google has changed the limit from 1000 to 100?? Just a guess.

 

I think you are on to something. The same thing happened to me but I got more than 100.

 

It dumped on me too, it shows every single keyword that I track as not being in the top 10,000.......though doing a manual check shows me that I am still ranking where I have been over recent weeks. In other words, the tool is displaying erroneous results, it is either broken or google decided to break the API, dunno.

 

I think there is a limit on the number of checks. If we remove the keywords that don't rank in the top 100 it will probably help.

 

Yes, removing the poor rankings keywords seemed to help. I didn't make it through my list but I cam a lot closer.

I you browse back inside this forum, you will see things like those you were facing occur from time to time and overtime resolve by themselves somehow.

 

Seems this problem is back. The level of N/As has been rising through the week. Today its 100%. Now I know there are definite top rankings that have been scored N/a.

 

I agree, there is a problem - a BIG problem with results. I track my site keywords at http://www.digitalcameratracker.com and DP Keyword Tracker seems to be becoming progressively undependable.

Somebody changed something, either the Google API or DP servers. Nobody at DP appears to want to address the issue so users become more disillusioned with the service.

It would be appropriate for DP to issue a formal statement that addressed the wonky results of Key Word Tracker.
