Suggest software to add metadata to GIF, JPG and PNG images

    Hi guyz,
    Please suggest me a freeware to add metadata to GIF, PNG and JPG images.

    To explain the situation better, I have about 100 icons. Some of them are creative commons licensed while some are copyrighted. When there are just few icons, I could remember it well, but with 100 icons, its a mess.

    I need something that can add some notes such as the license and author of the image. Out of 100, only about 30 icons will be finalized for use.

    Yes, it includes EXIF too, but AFAIK, EXIF is for JPG, For PNG and GIF, I think there is IPTC.
