I am a part of iwebie.com, one of whose authors wrote the following post

    www.iwebie.com/indias-2008-beijing-olympics-dreams

We have written the contents of the actual page as shown above.

The contents of the this page has been directly COPIED INTO the below site

    http://www.wittysparks.com/2008/08/09/india-at-beijing-olympics-2008

Of course, we have since changed some of the sentences in my blog. But as you can see, the sentences which we have not modified , since the time the contents were copied, appear unchanged in this spam website.

How do we resolve this issue. This is pure Plagiarism.

    1) Contact them, they will likely remove it.
    2) of not...they are using Adsense. File a DMCA complaint with Google and they may cut off his revenue source and remove the site from the Google index.

@tobycoke: We tried commenting in his forums to remove our content and none of them worked. He just removes the comment or may be does not approve it in the first place.

Isn't filing a DMCA complaint, a huge process as we need to fax to Google and stuff and nothing can be done online?

@Nigel Lew: I did not understand what you meant?

@biohammer Firstly, if you write something can't you easily make out if its copied. Olympics was a totally new topic when we started and its easy to find out if someone has copied you or not ? To confirm I ran copyscape on my url and found many had copied my material. I ran articlechecker.com too.

Need some help as I am loosing hits for many keywords. I don't want to stuff our article with too many keywords and outrank him. But Want to do it in a legal way. This is pure stealing content without permission

Type up an email with the 7 points that Google wants, print it, then FAX or mail it.

A DMCA takedown notice is no big deal. Each host should have separate provisions on their sites for how to file. Go ahead and send one to Google and to the infringer's host. That should fix the problem...

Let me know if you have other questions.

I mean that in the comments on their site about that article, someone stated that they stole it. When I checked again they had deleted the post. Hence, I made another one. Furthermore, they likely do that alot. That site is not indexed in Google.

Heh, they are throwing my posts into moderation now. I would suggest reporting it to adsense as the above poster mentioned.
