Metal or leather watch band/strap?

    Which one do you prefer for your watch? I can't decide. Thank you.

    PS: and what colour


    Here are my opinions:

    Leather

    PRO: it's lighter, it doesn't keep cold in the winter

    Metal

    PRO: it's more stylish

    NEGATIVE: it's heavier

    It depends on individual preferences. I would go for leather because of metal to skin allergic reaction.

    I don't wear a watch anymore, havn't done so in about 5-6 years. I always have my phone on me, it tells me the time...:rolleyes: plus a watch weighs down one side of you, and I like to have balance.

    Metal bands look a little more professional/luxurious, while anything else is more comfortable/easy wear. Also metal bands will rip out your arm hair sometimes, so that takes some getting used to. If your looking for a basic comfortable watch to wear around wherever then Casio G-Shock isn't a bad choice.
