Right now i'm running a Vbulletin based board (3.7.2 version) and i'm lookig for these catchy mods or hacks that members love (so i need your suggestions).

According to you, wich hack must be included into a board as important part of itself?.

Please note my forum is another domain and SEO webmaster related (as DP but smaller of course) so currently i'm running:

    I-Trader system.
Topic of the Week Nomination system
Cart Plog (for selling online stuffs)
    Vbseo (a license one)
    Advanced Forum Statistics
    Meet Our Staff
    Referrer Statistics
    vBadvanced Links Directory

    Any other one???

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

This list should give you a good start, this is just about all the mods I have installed on my site.

But if I was going to pick just one mod, it would be the Automatic embedding software modification. And be sure to install the one touch spam ban and cleanup add-on.

Abe1 - The thank you hack

    Abe1 - All Albums

Abe1 - Force users to read a thread - this has also been used as a security feature.

    PaulM - Flashchat integration

PaulM - Miserable users - for helping to keep the trouble makers away.

PaulM - Visitors every 24 hours

PaulM - Who is chatting, for flashchat

Mosh - Who is in chat, a flashchat add-on

CyberRanger - Downloads II - my site has served over 14,000 files since it was installed.

Ohiosweetheart - Business green theme A special thank you on this one. It fits my sites topic perfectly.

    VBDEV - MGC Chatbox EVO

    VBSEO - Site map generator

    C Braithwaite - Reminder emails

RY215 - Highslide and image resizer

    mtha - Awards system

    MRZeropage - The Arcade System

    mikelbeck - Amazon store integration

BoYagoob - Make your forum seem faster

Cybernetec - Sub Forum manager - this makes the site look much more organized.

mfyvie - One Touch Spam Ban Mfyvie is no longer with us. If there is an after life, where ever you are - you have my personal Thank You for this modification.

MPDev - Multiple account login detector (AE Detector).

Attilitus - VBArmy I still need that fix for the Private Message issue. :)

Atakan KOC - Separate sticky and normal threads

    Dannyloski - AME XML releases

    You are right arteaga624

That you must need some essential mods for forum, like itrader, etc. But mods like these

    Advanced Forum Statistics
    Referrer Statistics
    Visitors every 24 hours
    Who is chatting, for flashchat

etc, put extra load on server. As you have new forum, so, I would recommend you to keep your forum as simple as you can.

    nice list ~kev~
I'd send ya some rep, but I have to spread it around :|

I would also focus on a clean style, you don't want to over hack your forum, it'll make it slow and open to exploits.

Mods should be considered by their usability, not their SEO potential
