    Think of the Alexa ranking like Golf.. The lower the number the better.

    Just remember Alexa rankings are not completely accurate.

    Earlier words about Alexa Rank are true that this never accurate. But Ur numbers 2'044 is very gud.

    They receive stats based on people who have the Alexa tool bar installed and not everyone installs this tool bar so stats are not 100%.

    Also you can forge these numbers with ease so yet another reason why they are not accurate.

    Thats right, well Alexa Rank data is generally skewed, Due to, It being picked up from the visitors who use the Alexa Toolbar.. and most often many dont..Though lately they have revised the Alexa ranking algo, I still doubt its that efficient to make things matter for the websites.. Though your number sounds good, but it depends its for which reigon... If its global, then its an awesome rank, but if its riegonal its more or less waste..

    My opinion..

    That pretty much sums it up. You may have a 2,000 ranking in Africa.. but globally 9,000,000
