As far as I know, websites with pop-ups cannot join google AdSense. This is against google's TOS. But (www.ndtv.com) rains pop-ups when you click any item. Yet google is not suspending it's account!!!

Google states that you can not have any pop ups or unders that interfere with navigation. There exact words are "Sites showing Google ads may not contain pop-ups or pop-unders that interfere with site navigation, change user preferences, or initiate downloads." If the site in question interfered with the navigation it is against TOS and they will be caught eventually.

That website is NDTV. It's a big news channel in India. Must be a premium publisher. Therefore, adsense may have allowed pop-ups for that site.

Why does it matter though? There are thousands of sites violating the Adsense TOS. Let Google worry about that. You weren't questioning anything, you were just pointing something out that no one cares about.

Stop crying about it. Go work on your site. I see jealousy in you. Get over it.

    .
Are you serious? You sniff "jealousy" in my suprise that a widely known website is using pop-ups and AdSense simultaneously?? We all are here to know about google AdSense and share its acumen and deficiency. If pop-ups are allowed (may be someone knows that it is really allowed), then everyone can earn some extra bucks with pop up ads. If all of us start sniffing "jealousy", "ignorance", "nonsense" to other's post then this forum will not worth existing.

90% of the people on this forum are aware of the AdSense TOS and know what is permitted/not permitted.
