.ME Domain Discussion Thread

I do not think that Toyota would do that, the bidders may own Toyota franchises, and as long as they don't use the domain to make Toyota look bad, then it should be ok.. If done right, then it will be free advertising for Toyota.
I have never heard of anyone being asked to remove a Toyota sign from outside there car yard because its trademarked! But I may be wrong.

EDIT: Could also be a advertising exercise by Toyota, to be able to say that the Toyota name is worth at least 10 times more than the Mitsubishi name.

you're right. this is free publicity for toyota. but i personally would stay away from a big trademark like that.

its about discussion and buy/sale of .me's its Discus.me when i reged it i was worried coz it was a typo... but now i am happy

Well the last of the names I had registered an interest in, have just come on the market. I was kind of hoping the other people that had registered an interest in them were not watching the auctions, and well... wouldn't bid..

playwith.me has been open for 8 hours and already is at $605.

ani.me has been open for 3 hours and is at $3,338

Damn.. I had only budgeted $80 each

Oh well.. I am happy with the ones I have.
Although program.me would be a great buy, its only at $809 with 6 hours and 40 mins to go. code.me sold for $9,740, so I had expected program.me to reach about the same.
