What's the difference between regular proxy and SSL proxy? How to make them?

 

SSL adds the extra security through an SSL certificate (ex https). It allows for even further anonymous through more encryption and works through a different port 443 I think.

Standard is just that, no strings attached, no extra encryption and works on the standard http port 80.

You can make an SSL proxy by buying an SSL standard certificate from somewhere and applying it to your site. Ask your host to see what their rates are for SSL certificate.

 

does anyone do yahoo groups promotion for proxy?

 

you must have your own dedicated IP on your host to use a SSL certification , If you dont know why , just ask , ill help you

Topsites use (mostly) addvark script and proxy list use something different, some of them even custom coded.

You may want to add proxysites.ca (PR3/PR4) to that list . I am on the first page of yahoo, 4th link for the term 'proxy site' as of very recent. NOW the organic traffic is starting to flow in.

 

A proxy list lists real proxies in hostost form. Toplists list the socal web proxies, the ones we all own.
