Hmmm... Judging by my signature, I think you could safely say that I am a little bit excited... I love it all! And I watch every bit of it that I can, from the Opening Ceremony to the Closing Ceremony...
Well I am excited for it since I know my country will not take more medals, I am really looking for some events and Soccer is my first aim. Yes it would be best and we still have to wait for few hours. Angel, Do you have any live feed to see it?
I love the Summer Olympics and probably watch more TV during the games than at any other time. As for who is likely to win the most medals, I expect it to be the US, China and Russia, but I can't say for certain who will come out on top as China does have the home field advantage. As for the events I will watch, I love the martial arts so I'll watch Judo, Taekwondo, Fencing, Archery and probably swimming.
I am not to excited about it, but I think that the opening of it will be amazing going to a staff lunch today and will be sharing the opening with them.
I remember Filipinos accusing the Thai's cheating when the Olympics was held in Thailand. And the Thai's accused the Filipinos cheating when the Olympics was held in the Philippines. LOL! I guess the hosting country always has the advantage of being in their "home court" But you'll never know.
Not quite excited, but will try to watch basketball games. otherwise not going to watch, because of the time difference and beacuse my country won't get any medals, ok maybe one
i know a friend who paid for fake olympic tickets. btw, my interest in football, wrestling, weight lifting...
the only thing I like in Olympics is Basketball competition and taekwando! hope team USA win the gold medal in Basketball!
I'm watching it now. 15 mins in, and all I've seen are some fireworks, drums, a singing kid, and a few soldiers. I can't believe how dull it is. Anyone else?
It was fucking amazing with the lights, counting down to the start and then the fireworks. When it comes to the UK in 2012 there will probably be some party poppers and sparklers.
Yeah it's getting a bit better now. Still... you've seen one synchronized choreography thingy, you've seen 'em all. I'm waiting for Jackie Chan to parachute in from a helicopter.
My TV is tuned firmly to the other side. If China want the eyes of civilisation upon them then they should learn to conduct them self in a civilised manner.
