i loved that site... what it did was when u uploaded something to them they used to upload it 5 file hosting sites.. that ways u got 5 links n u could give option to the users without any effort... i tried searching online n got this... The German music rights holders association GEMA has expanded its fight against one click hosters like Megaupload and Rapidshare by targeting a new breed of intermediaries: File spreading engines, also called spreaders, are websites that make it possible to upload a file on multiple sites at the same time. It also took Xirror.com to court in June and was able to get a preliminary injunction against the site which is now offline as well. GEMA celebrated the shut-down of the site as a proof that it is taking "forceful actions" against file spreading engines. There are some inconsistencies to the GEMA story though. The Xirror.com owners have told the German IT news webiste heise.de that they decided to shut down the site in mid-June for a variety of reasons, with problems to monetize the bandwidth-intensive service being one of them. GEMA was only able to secure the injunction two days after the shut-down, according to Xirror. Code (markup): this is bull shit... i uploaded soo much there i miss shareonall
you should try out uploadjockey.com , it provides much better service than shareonall and pays too......... check it out http://uploadjockey.com/ Code (markup):
It is costly to operate such sites, being extremely bandwidth intensive, they need ways to monetize it. I guess this is one of their problems, coupled with the legal threats and fees, I guess they find it easier to shut down the site. If it is really that profitable, they would have continued the site and fight the law suit.

Yeah could be , can't say , they've been running for a long time now , so it has to be profitable and since a similar site uploadjockey is able to pay the users too , profitability might not have been the issue in my opinion
wow... thats quck... much better than crappy adsense that i use... fuckers take 3 months to send me my money
Please berrycorp, we all know you are the owner of uploadjockey If anyone has doubt on this matter just go through all the posts of berrycorp. Dont try to increase ur revenue by trying to act as a third person and advertising like this, its better to show the screenshot of your history of payments to uploaders than trying to act as a new person. Please, stop this kind of advertisements thanks
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=862222 hahaah check this out berrycorp why are you asking your self if you pay or not ?? hahaha something sounds fishy
So will uploadjockey and the other mirror sites see the fate of shareonall? I'm just checking if its too risky to start up one of these sites.
If you are running your own website my advice to you is to don't use any other of the shareonall type. My website got completely destroyed and i am not using any more of the shareonall type because what it will happened if they end like shareonall? Regards plimper
