Cuil has a long way to run before hurt Googles feets... Has a fellow DP'er said it takes a 500Pound gorilla to take google down, not a chimpanze... And the changes are happening in alot of G stuff: Adwords tool now show us numbers... (yes!), G Knols just came up alive, G Insights just came up alive (Yes, yes, yes), some tools dependent of G direct data stoped working this week... So you see, its a major change. A change of direction? Anyways, alot of SEO's worldwide are just amazed with this last Algo change. Noone knows whats the intenttion - but many people agree this is a time of changes in G headquarters.
after the update my ranking in SERP also experience some changes which is not good in my side, but I don't think that google change its algo!
Almost all agree about major change on google, in this case I have opinion that losing SERP affect on static site only because my site that was update (add content weekly or daily still in the 1st page of about 7mil result.
It is happening for one of my sites. After 30K uniques per day, it receives 14K only (for two weeks now). I hope it is a dance that comes to an end soon!
It happened to me also. I was not sure why that happened, but was suspecting a change in algo though.
Great, Google stop dancing. My keywords is back to normal after few days gone, you can check your SERP now. It is true, my keywords SERP back to 1st-2nd page as it happen before dancing
I just checked and my SERPS are still out on this particular site. Whatever is happening hasn't stopped. Like i said earlier I had this problem a month and half ago and just built backlinks cause it didn't go away after more than a week.

Dear all, That is true, my keywords SERP was back to normal as the previous. I don't know whether this happen to your keywords or not.
If you have links going out to a website and that website is linked to a bad neighborhood it will drop your rankings. Not so much if they are linking to you, but if you are linking to them. If it hurt your ranking with them linking to you every competitor would be building links for there competition.

it's true google search algorithm is change so it affected on SERP. My website also has major changes in SERP. But it is necessary to avoid spam website and serve good content to searcher.
