Do you think google would be mad if you submit an article already found on your website? I know this is duplicate content but is it enough to be blacklisted? Thank you, Tim L.
Uh, computers don't get mad. You can't be blacklisted for this. The article(s), in all liklihood, will not be indexed. And if they are not, so what? The more sites that carry your article(s), the more visitors you get.
Search engines do not have feelings,... but if the article is a duplicate off of your site, whatever site with the most links, trust, etc within google will have the article on their site ranking in the search results.
Thanks windtalker, I really, for some reason thought the average DP'er would be able to figure out what i meant easily. orry for the mistake. its hard to test someones intelligence over the internet.
I always submit new content to article directories first. Then, sfter a week I put it on my site...maybe with a few changes. It seems to work pretty good for me. However, I would not submit articles, nor content from articles, to article directories. This just seems backwards to me.
It should be fine. But if I were you, I would rewrite the article so that I can keep the one in my website unique.
I think it is best to write two completely different articles on the same subject so that you for sure don't have duplicate content
