I prefer firefox I used IE for many years but I stopped using it when I discovered
firefox. Firefox is faster and it provides a little more security than IE that's why
    I use it.

Firefox is better. I do not use IE for years due to security issues.

there's not one IT professional in the world that will tell you to use IE. so many security holes, if nothing else. Firefox renders pages faster, and has a wealth of add-ons.

Actually, I have been on the Internet my whole life and I have never had an issue with IE. However if you are a "noob" to the Internet and install anything at every prompt or visit warez, porn, or illegal sites often, then i would suggest FF.

10+ years on IE and never had an issue. IE + Google Toolbar = Best browser. Google toolbar has a built in spell checker.

1+ years with FF and have issues all the time. FF has many missing plugins and sites don't work properly. FF looks ugly. The only reason why people say its "SAFE" is because its new, and not that big yet. Scammers and spyware companies are just now starting to program bugs and toolbars for FF. Give it 5 more years and you will see just as many spyware/adware made for FF.

firefox is for wannabies and fanboys. It's a worthless, unusable, unstable, piece of wannabe web browser that's promoted by ever obnoxious fanboys. I'd rather vote Obama than use Firefox.

However, just try it for yourself. You will hear fanboys telling you crap about some security holes that don't exist and other made up crap, but don't take anything form them. Try it for yourself, see how worthless it is, how slow, underperforming, resources killing piece of $hit browser it is and decide for yourself.

Wrong. Real IT experts use IE only. Maybe few of them clueless wannabe IT professionals as you refer to them here on DP use firefox, but they're not IP professionals, they're begging for a job on DP. They're as clueless as the browser they use. Real experts, real professionals use IE and would never touch a wannabe browser. IE is widely used because it's a stable and secure browser. IE is widely used because it's heavily promoted by giant companies who have their stock there. And clueless "It professionals frrm DP" follow the herd like blind sheep.

    Firefox = FAIL

You should start by using the search function to find more than a dozen of threads about your concern posted under the Microsoft forum, as there are also dozens and dozens of members that posted their opinion in each of them

I tried ff on one of my comps when it was first released wasn’t bad but the updates where like slow to come to fix security holes. Even when reported there was like no updates for it for ages.
Whether it has changed now I don’t know. I started with Explorer (am not saying how many years ago) and it has never let me down.
So my votes for old faithful Microsoft Internet Eploorer

Question: since when IE and Firefox are websites to be reviewed and why people answer?

    This forum read this way:

    Reviews
For anything that is specific to you and requires someone to go look at whatever it is.
    Sub-Forums: Websites, SEO

If this was posted as a joke, chat is more suitable, LOLZ

    I love Firefox better.

Everything visually looks better, some websites look messed in IE. Even though they are up to code with the W3C.

Not to mention the spell checker, add-ons, security and so on.

Firefox is a lot better in my opinion.

The only time I use IE is when I'm testing my website designs. Otherwise I'm all about Firefox, first because it just looks better. Better interface, buttons, it's easy on the eyes, AND, It blows IE away because you can customize it to your hearts desire.

Never been an IE fan, never will be one.
