    Hi,

I'm scratching the surface of SEO and it really seems like hit and miss and a lot of taboo.

How can I get Yahoo quicklinks for my site ?

Is yahoos basic submit for $49 worth it even though my site is already listed with them ? will this boost traffic coming from yahoo ?

Is there a yahoo webtools similar to googles webtools ?

Never heard of a "basic submit", but I paid the $299 for a directory submission and got a little more long term traffic and a better PR and Alexa rank.(It did hurt though to part with the cash:()

You can spend $299 on a lot more link building services like social bookmarking, directory and article submissions and get more bang for your buck than the Yahoo directory.

Its hit or miss, it really depends WHAT page you get placed with Yahoo. For a gaming site I would go for it personally, but anything else, its all dependant on where you get placed.

Are you sure that $299 is worth that? If so, go ahead. If not, then think again.

If you're doing very well in yahoo for all of your keywords it may worth but still I don't think you can get ROI from Yahoo directory alone paying $299 yearly.

Never heard of that $49. But even today Yahoo still counts a link as a link, unlike Google who counts topical related links as a link and not just a link

If youre serious about your business do it. It usually pays for it self if you know what youre doing and will gain you trust with the search engines.

Yahoo's directory product is worth it (that's the $299 product). Basic submit, it can help get you in their listings a little quicker.
