After long period researching about various search engine algorithm still i am not satisfy about my researching. I think i will take your help. So my question is how long time Google is taking time to index a site
For a new site it all depends on how long google takes to find the site. Your job is to make it as easy as possible for google to find it. The best thing is to get backlinks from a frequently crawled site. e.g. Digg
Google can index quickly your site but you need to point your link in your high traffic blog/site. you should have quality/Fresh content point your link in high ranking forums. Sure, you'll index soonest Thanks Eric
It all depends on how easy they can find your site. If you have backlinks coming from established sites often crawled by google then probably it will take only days.
The time google takes to index a site is not constant. Some times google index a site with in 3 days, and some times, google take 7 or more days to index a site. Different things matter, like if you get some quality backlinks for your new site, then that will help to index it faster.
Depends on how important the site is.... I expect sites like bbc.co.uk and cnn.com are being indexed all the time. A new "insignificant" site could take a while.
I don't quite agree with any of the above answers - because there is no timetable. Search engines rely on backlinks to follow to find new sites. If you have no backlinks Google may never index your site (unless you submit it). If you only have a backlink on a site that only gets crawled once a month, then that's how long it will take. If you have several backlinks on sites that get crawled very frequently, then you will get indexed in a day or less.
Base on my experiment on my 3 wordpress blog it only take 2-4 minutes and they new post appear in google. But like other says you need to get a quality backlink and there are some factor needed.
A brand new site on a brand new domain can take anywhere from 1 minute to 1 month (i have had both), it all comes down to getting the google spiders on your site Make sure the site has a sitemap, is verified in google webmaster and when ready make sure has some links direct to it from a site that gets spidered frequently
I agree with vouchercodes, a sitemap is a 100% must and be aware that your site coding meets standard design guidelines to ensure it gets spidered. it also helps to manually submit your website to google, msn and yahoo. Google wait periods can vary from 1-2 days upto 15 days. It has never exceeeded more than for me.
