My PDF ebook for download to my customers. What is the best way to protect it from being shared, etc. I want to lock it so no one can email it. I already use the PDF security settings to not allow printing. Any ideas of how to protect this ebook for free or very inexpensive? Thanks

Put a password on your ebook. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=how+to+put+a+password+on+pdf&btnG=Google+Search&meta=
I use secure-ebook.com and it works pretty well, only problem is with the mac users, but for them I just send the PDF and ask them nicely not to share it. Eh
One huge ebook publisher I read has this advice in one of his books: Let it go. Unless you're losing tons of money from this, it might make more economical sense to let those few "stolen" ebooks pass by. That's just an alternative view - take your pick.
Why let it go when you can secure it? I feel my eBook is pretty secure with secure-ebook, I don't like people giving away my hard work for free.
You can use things like cbprotect.com or if you password protect the basic pdf file try using each customers email address as the password.
I think there is no sure way of securing your ebook. Don't mean to discourage you but the best is to blast your sales as much as possible before it get passed around. By that time, you may enjoy the fruit of your labour. Just my 2 cents worth.
if billion dollar companies can't protect their products (ebooks and software) what chance do you have? Anyone that knows where to get your ebook for free and goes looking for it probably wasn't going to buy it in the first place.
