    I have completed the task of updating the PageRank and cleaning up the dead links on web-directories.ws. Directory PR seems to be about the same it was in the previous couple of updates.

    Stats are based on the active links from our database of 11,000 directories.

    nice data on directory PR. It looks to me that PR of some directories dropped especially for PR 5 directory.

    Oh, I wouldn't call this data sheet a trend. There are far far too many directories out there for this to be any type of web-based comparison.

    Consider this 'personal' website stats if anything. ;)

    I had to search for them myself. Some of them are blog directories. some are paid directories and some are article directories. The rest seem to spread out all over in niche and regional categories like UK and business.

    I don't recommend submitting to all those directories. Use the information provided to help you decide on which directories to submit your site to. In addition to the general directories you may want to submit to niche directories that apply to your topic. Regional directories can be helpful for sites that want to attract regional traffic.
