My newest ebook has just been accepted to the CB marketplace. Let me say the potential is high with the way gas prices are right now. And a little tip, those water4gas mailing lists - this one converts like crazy. There's a lot of people out there that got sucked in by being able to save so much on gas but either didn't want to do a conversion themselves or bought water4gas and never did the install. This is driving tips, gas pump tips, and extremely light maintenance that a soccer mom could do, so for these people this ebook sells. It also does great on landing pages along side water4gas products, plus I threw in a free MRR water4gas clone as a bonus :p

I've done PPC research and listed a few of the TONS of terms there are out there, also optimized my sales page for direct PPC traffic.
I have a sample mailing list letter, some banners, and a landing page. Will be pumping out a couple additional mailing letters and landing pages soon.

This niche is so hot right now, I've made a good deal of sales in the last few weeks via paypal while I was optimizing, now its your turn.

Let me know if there's anything additional you as an affiliate need, thanks.

Everything looks pretty good, but I think you could have a better header...

Instead of little text and cash on the right, you should write some attractive, large, relevant sentence about your product and it's benefits

Interesting, do you have any approximate conversion percentages for ppc traffic?

My PPC budget was pretty limited, everything I have up there converted profitably (with a decent margin left over) on adwords. I actually found that searching google for websites with adsense that talked about saving money on gas and doing site targetting converted for me too (and I HATE the content network!).

    Best converiting keywords were:

    save gas secrets 1:26
save gas tips 1:12 (only 1 sale though, so not accurate indicator!)

They were really cheap when I was running them too, not much traffic though. On PPC the sky is really the limit, gas is pretty huge in day to day life right now in the US. My PPC is really young in this niche right now, I will continue to refine and add as I go.

    Hi,

In my opinion, the photos of people in the testimonials look like what I suspect they are - stock photographs. Whether the average punter would pick up on this I'm not sure, but I think you'd be better with some snapshots of "ordinary" people, because that's who they're meant to be. The two girls especially look like models.;)

    Good luck with it anyway.

    Cheers,
    Zander

Its going to be hard to get this up. I understand that its not HHO, but people get scared as soon as they see a GAS word

This niche is hot, I ran for just a few days via paypal with my water4gas mailing list and little ppc was pretty impressed. the main reason water4gas (and now the wind/solar energy programs) was such a hit is that fuel costs are huge now and make the news everyday. People talk about it at work and school regularly.

    Hi,

Thanks for the review copy. Unfortunately you need to add a lot more content. with 36 pages and the $45 cost - each page is around : $1.25 which is way too expensive.

Its true that its a matter of quality and not quantity but the content is not enough for that price, you will sure get lot of refunds because people will think that they have been folled. The bonuses are not of any use - a bonus needs to be of real value and not just some scrap. Its better without a bonus then to have some that are not of any use since they lower the original product quality.

    Good Luck!

I sold 23 copies via paypal and didnt have a single refund. Also as I stated the book is in early stages and I add onto it regularly, its not really about quantity though, these tips will save you a lot on gas.

I did however take your advice on the bonuses and add a better quality one. Plus now on the thank you page there are 2 freebies that aren't advertised, if you're worried about refunds this may help put you to ease. I've written a lot of ebooks in the last few years and on a couple with refund problems I added extras after payment, its like people feel guilty when they're getting extra stuff.

Just looking at your page quickly - the copy formatting looks pretty poor to me.

You've got to give the reader an outstanding reason to use their precious time and stay on your page. You've got to give them a HEADLINE which promises exactly what they're going to get from buying your product OR from reading your webpage.

Right now, it's just a big mish mash of stuff which doesn't set out your position, product or even any benefits to the reader from what I can see.

If you want more advice - just PM me.

Just got back from Egypt (holiday I paid for with my new business' profits ;-))
