Have you ever contacted a "non-domainer" via telephone about their domain?

    If so, what was their reaction. Did they welcome the call or did they feel solicited that some Internet lurker found their number online and actually called it.

    depends, you get a wide variety of responses in my experience. got a lot of wrong numbers too, that is always fun when they have no idea who you are talking about/looking for and what a domain is. just be polite and explain what you're calling about clearly, generally it goes ok.

    hehe, tried that a few times it didnt really go too well so I have given up. I think a lot of people put some random number when registering their domain or dont update it.

    that does seem to happen, but i think it can still be an effective strategy. Many people are more friendly on a telephone than email.

    yeah that is true, I mean if u keep trying I am sure it will work out well but I have only tried it a few times.
