I use MochiAds for the game. They're free to use with about 2,800 games to use and they give you a portion of the ad revenue from views from your site.

I am earning something like US$0.10 per thousand game views. And to make it even worse, their views seem to be somewhere around 33% of my game views via phpas, awstats and webalizer. They have some great games but your portion of the ad revenue will probably be diddly squat. Tom
I did not do this with my sites. But I wish I had. I have tried to make my existing sites unique but the game sites that I intend to start in the future are entirely based on being unique from the beginning. It is easy to buy a domain, a script and a game pack, but you need to do more if you expect to make a real profit in the busy "niche" of games websites. Tom
So far I've made $0.28 from 193 views to the game Cavern Flier, haven't even finished up setting up the site so the traffic and views must be coming from this thread.
good thread skipped a couple pages but a good read. I would have to agree that uniqueness will help in the long run. I have coded 3 arcades for different users and all 3 are doing well in rankings and traffic. I have a vbarcade site, at one time it was quite popular, but as soon as support for vbulletin (and thus new games) fell off the site fell shortly thereafter..
I'm not sure yet but this thread seams to have sent significant traffic to my site, WeeGame, I posted the link in this thread and so far just the game Cavern Flier has been visited over 3K times according to my advertiser. If your going to make a game site then I definitely suggest you go the road I went and make your site unique.
I've just been taking a css template and adapting it to make unique game sites. My first site www.netgolfgames.com is getting almost 1500 uniques a day. I just created another site off the same template. www.topfishinggames.com. Making niche game sites seems to be a better way to go than just general arcades, in my opinion.

What is the best way to monetize an arcade site? Mine has had over 80,000 games played with more than 80 comments on them but the site does not do well with AdSense at all.

Hey Guys I am back in the arcade business again. I started my first arcade all most a year ago. Lots of work but got it to about 1400 members and 3 - 4K UV a day. I ran into some problems but now I am back with a custom script and looking for partners to trade traffic with. it is possible but would be very hard. When I was getting 13k unique visitors per day and using YPN and adsense for non US traffic I was only earning a few $$ per day from a large number of clicks. Granted it was non us traffic for the most part even when I had just adsense I was earning less than $20 per day. So if you are getting a lot of traffic you can do better by offering advertising on your site. if it is in the 10k uniques per day I would try adengage, clickbooth, Valueclick etc.
It's possible for adsense only but it's very hard. You must have lots of traffics to your site to earn around $30 a day.
