I've recently sold one of my websites, and am in the midst of developing another poker website similar in nature. I'm going to basically follow the same link-building strategy that I used last time (PR3 in 3 months), and hopefully do the same again. This time round, I want to increase the amount of discussion on my blog. As such, I've removed the nofollow attrib from comments, so that people are able to link back to their website if they choose to. The condition is that you at least read part of the article, and post something related to it. Short, spammy comments will not be accepted and will be reported. It's not that hard to take a couple of minutes to read, and actually contribute something. http://pokerphile.net
Glad to see that you're doing this! I often comment on Do Follow blogs, and make sure that it is something relevant to the topic. Even with no follow blogs that I read regularly, I'm always reluctant to post a comment, even if I have something to say because it almost seems as though the blogger is discouraging it but using no follow. I'll check it out and probably make a comment, good luck with the new site!
Thanks for that very... insightful contribution to this thread? The couple of comments that I've approved so far have been fine. Just another reminder if you're considering posting on there, that I will remove your post & report it for spam should you just try and spam my blog.
PR3 within 3 month?? amazing...Can you show me that site please? what was your effort to get that PR? Can you share your experience with us if you don't mind...Thanks in advance
Not quite sure what website's source you were checking, mate, but mine's definitely not nofollow. Rel tag is 'external'.
I'm sure I could enlighten you a little bit on poker site building if you wanted... Contact me via PM. New posts are being added as much as my free-time permits (2 new articles being added today!)
Thanks, submitted a post. To return the favor check out my blogs as well. I like the idea you take away the no follow, I do the same. But even though you do this people still don't leave a worthy comment though , huh? Thanks again.
Yeah, here and there I get rubbish comments and of course there's the bots that drop in here and there to publish their spam... But it's good to have some discussion going on, in my opinion.
