How can I increase my clicks?

Ok I have a fairly new website TheGatorChomp.com, and I have had it for maybe a little over a month, and I have had about 3400 Page impressions, with only 9 clicks, for a total income level of about .85 Cent. If anyone could please look at my site, and give me some suggestions on what you think I might should change to get better clicks? I get about 100 UV a day, and out of those I get almost no clicks, rarely I will get a click. So any advice would help.

    Thank you.

    David

The amount of traffic dosen't matters the type of traffic dose matters. You are marketing your site to the peoples who knows about adsense like forums including this.

And do you think you can get clicks from peoples who knows that you are making money out of them. No way so market your niche to the normal peoples.

Now you can watch the clicks increasing.

I think I am Right. What do you think?

I saw your site you have ads on the right side of the content which is almost a blindspot for visitors. So use one ad unit about the content (at the top of the Middle content).

so that people can see it and can have some chance to click it.

I actually agree. That one on the right is terrible. I would bet it doesn't have one click.

Something to also consider is a lot of people coming to your site are there for GATOR news and nothing more. Because of that the adsense may not be as attractive as other sites.

Try with different ads format and use different placing. I can't exactly tell you which one is the best. It depends on trial and error. It current one doesn't work, just change it. You have nothing to lose.

put a 160*600 skyscapper ad in the left sidebar.. (or change the right one to left).
Left side ads will get far more clicks than the ones in the right side.

I haven't had much luck with the adsense link units. I would change that and put in a 468x60 adsense banner instead. Also, I'm not a fan of the "Read More" links. Put the entire post on the page and maybe use a 300x250 ad block within the text. The more keyword-rich your posts are, the more relevant ads will display.

If you're consistently getting traffic on a daily basis, test it out with one ad configuration and change it up after a week or two. Don't change it everyday as you won't know which config works the best for your site.

Also, use your stat software to determine "where" your traffic is coming from and what keywords ppl use to find your site. It's amazing how much more value you can provide to your readers by analyzing the stats and catering the content for what they're looking for.

    Hope that helps!
