[WTB] dedicated mysql server

    Hello,

    i need a dedicated server for use with just mysql so i need just phpmyadmin installed on the server and owner must be able to help with getting going.

    Please let me know your prices.. if it isnt setup for just mysql then i dont want it :)

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 (2.5Ghz)
    8GB DDR2 RAM
    750GB SATA2 HDD

    That would be about 159.95/m

    If you are looking for something cheaper or with SCSI drives etc let me know and I will get you a more specific quote.

    For a dedicated mysql, you might want it to be in the same datacenter with your web server. Placing it in different datacenter might lead to slow performance.

    Well i dont need nearly that big of HDD nor ram.. i am looking for something around $100 if possible.

    We can do an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ with 1GB DDR2, 160GB HDD for 115.95/m.

    Or we can do a Dual Xeon 3Ghz w/HT, 2GB RAM, and 250GB HDD for 89.95/m.

    The Dual Xeon 3Ghz w/HT, 2GB RAM, and 250GB HDD for 89.95/m. sounds not to bad.. but i need a GUARANTEE of 99.99% uptime since this is the master of my sites.. and i already have 2 servers just to run the site its self.. so i cant afford to have the database offline ever basically.

    What someone guarantees and what you actually experience are 2 different things. Sure we can guarantee 99.99% uptime but that is really only the point at which we start crediting your account.

    Well when i say guarantee i mean if its under that then i require refund at $1/hour for damages.

    I need a server setup directly for mysql not general purpose hosting.. since i dont need bandwidth,.
