Consistency in title attributes for links?

Should the title attributes for a single link be the same throughout the site? I'm pretty sure that they should be, but I'm not 100%?

No they shouldn't all be the same.

 

Awe shucks, I meant the same for the same links. So when a link is used over and over again on the site the title attribute is the same in every instance.

Not all the links having the same txt.

 

I think mixing it up with various keywords you want to optimize for is better than repeating same titles, even for same links.

 

You can use different anchor text, no problem with that. In fact, that should be prefered!

I'm going with what I believe is right. One title attribute text per unique link.

 

I think the same title is ok. I don't see any reason why one can not do it.
