As the title says, has anybody paid and started using it?

If so, any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Its amazing how they actually figure out what keywords others are using. I would love to know how they do it

I've used SpyFu quite a bit, but never paid. Thanks for letting me know that the UK data is now available. It looks like I can use SpyFu UK the same as I did with the US site.

They took long enough to get it sorted.

I'm pretty sure you can't see UK competitor's keywords unless you are a subscribed member, but if this is incorrect let me know.

I'm thinking of having a dabble with it. I know it could be worth 10 fold if it works as it says it does.

spyfu's pretty cool, but for comprehensive competitive research I prefer Hexatrack.com, it has far more features in the free version than spyfu and just seems more intuitive to me.

Thats simple, they send out a bot to scrape all the adwords ads on 1000's of search queries everyday.

For example the bot will type in 'dog collars' and get a bunch of ads pointing to

    "petplanet.co.uk", "dog-online.co.uk", etc

It records all the websites that came up and moves onto the next keyword in its list 'dog leads' (for example) and then record who comes up for that.

The only problem with the spy tools is even if you get the list of keywords that they were bidding on, you can't necessarily replicate their ad position or ctr unless you have very deep pockets. Those spy programs always leave that part out though... :)
