is HDFC bank a good bank to recieve paypal and adsense? i am thinking of opening account with them. until now i have been using icici. how is hdfc service for webmasters like us?
HDFC bank is best amongst other banks such as Icici,Axis IMO. I have account in all 3 but i like the services of HDFC only. Very fast. Go with it without any doubt. DON.
Icici sucks big time There is no proper response from their customer care and they always give us credit little bit late in compare to HDFC (based on my own experience) BTW recently they also increased minimum quarterly balance 10k from 5k (which we have to maintain in savings account in each 3 months). DON.
Well ICICI have some hidden charges which you never get infomered when you open an account also their alerts are delay then HDFC. HDFC gives SMS Alert within 5 mints while ICICI bank tooks upto 5 hours sometimes. I think HDFC should be a good option.
I prefer ICICI over HDFC bank, ICICI phone support is better than HDFC, net banking of HDFC sucks, i had a terrible experience with them, their net banking is not secure. Lately have been hearing loads of pathetic news with what happened with their system.
well may b i still have to have some problems with the icici bank. coz i have added the bank but havent called for any money from paypal. no idea bat hdfc though!

Might just be an exception for you. HDFC bank stands apart from the whole bunch of private banks, in terms of customer service, technology etc. Been banking 4 years with them and without any hassle. Most importantly I never walked in to a branch except for the day I opened my account.
HDFC bank is very good for paypal.... I got payment in bank account within 48 hours from withdrawal request time in paypal..... they gave me SMS alert to my mobile within 5-10 mins after deposit of payment..... Many thanks to HDFC............

This is pretty old stories,HDFC has updated their security features after all that,now u need to add the person before sending him payment and for each addition,u get an sms,very much secure i guess.
whats the min balance to be in HDFC ? also if i take HDFC credit card whats the min balance to be in account
