I objectively believe he is, but I'm curious what other people think.

I believe he has been quit interesting, I don't care to much for him, but he is doing a very difficult job, witch few normal people would want to do. He is probably better than what we are going to have, in a few months. lol

They always look better years later. I think he sucks but in a few years, everything will look better for him. Thee is more to come with the upcoming election. Either more of Bushish or who the hell knows what else.

I'll say he is the worst of all of those who I lived to see.

George Dubya Bush is a joke, and a funny one at that.

Speaking as a foreigner - yes. Over the last 70 years there have been buffoons (Reagan), incompetent idiots (Carter), crooks (Nixon), lovable rogues (Kennedy), not-so lovable rogues (Clinton) and boring plodders (Ford, Bush Snr and most of the others). However I'd say George W Bush is the first president who could be described as 'evil'. Under his Administration 'freedom' has become a twisted stick with which to beat people who don't share his views.

    Roll on November.

Before accusing someone of being evil I always do the "Evil or Stupid" test - I think Bush falls under stupid but whoever is coming up with his plans for him is undoubtedly evil. People like to point to Rove but I think he's just a great PR strategist who likes to give himself a lot of credit and prestige.

But then the money behind Bush is no different than the money behind McCain or Obama....

As a foreigner, you have more insight in American politics than 80% of our country. I wish there were more like you in the states. :D

Korr - I think Bush is BOTH evil and stupid. The incompetence with which he has handled almost every problem during his presidency shows his stupidity. However, the statements he has made regarding the unconstitutional programs such as the PATRIOT Act, water boarding/torture, the suspension of habeas corpus for "terror suspects", and the warrantless wiretapping program, show he is also evil. These programs do go against the constitution and reduce or eliminate some of the civil liberties outlined therein. I know he has speech writers, but I think he truly believes what he is saying.

I would put Carter below Bush. They both stink but the interest rates have been low under Bush.

Personally, I think he's the worst one that I have experienced. I just can't believe that McCain is still aligning himself with Bush's policies, given the opinion of Bush.

    Definitely.

Hopefully people remember this when they are in the voting booth in November: McCain = Bush.

I think he has been fairly good. Not the greatest but it could of been worse. His incompetence is greatly exagerrated.

In reality, it takes around 20 to 50 years or more to truly recognize the impact a president has made. Much of what Reagan did back in the 80's was not truly realized until just a few years ago.

I'll leave the opinions of redefining reality up to the historians, not those with hatred, bias and an agenda thank you.

I do not like bush by any means, nor support him. However, to those who think he is the worst president, i think you may need to brush up on your history lessons, it does not look intelligent to say that he is.

The question was do you think Bush is the worse in the last 70 years. That's not taking into account the Zachary Taylor's, Hoover's...

So just for you, do you think he's better than: FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush 1, Clinton?

He inherited a budget surplus, created the largest deficit, diminished America's stature around the world....

I don't think you need time to evaluate the situation when you're sitting in manure. If you do, you might want to question your own intelligence.
