It sounds like scam! You need more than that to make money

    Seriously?

What could I possibly be scamming you for?

    I don't own Neverblue and I don't own Adwords.

The best I can do is get like five zip submit leads and perhaps a referral or two. Not that I'd mind, but I didn't go through all that trouble for $6. I did it to help people out.

I recall someone doing something similar with Lending Tree CPL ads awhile back I believe.

I can never seem to find too many affiliate programs that pay well enough simply for leads without some kind of action required.

I also wonder how consistent programs like these can be. I mean it seems like adwords expenses could get out of control real fast if you are not watching it like a hawk every day. Especially if you are using the content network.

I'm sure it's been done before but I wanted to be open and candid about it so that it can be replicated for multiple types of products.

It was actually pretty consistent. I've stopped that particular campaign to be fair to the people who are going to try it out.

There are a few different campaigns like this available on Neverblue and a couple other networks. It's definitely worth a look.

This sounds promising.. earlier i had tried some zip submit offers but it did not work this well., probably because i had done it in a very small scale, now i think this is a quantity game and with the increasing quantity the original results come :) I have a NBA account and will surely give this a TRY!

Nice post Scott. I posted on your blog as well. The only thing you did not give with your post was a keyword list. :)

With tips like this, I'm sure many people will be spending some time at your blog (including me). Good work, and + rep for sharing it with us.

    Thanks!

I actually did post the keywords. They're the last things in the post.

I sure hope so. Thanks again!

Give it a shot. What's it going to hurt?

Good deal. It should work well into the future.

Just to clear a few things up for people before I get hit with the questions:

Did you use a redirect or a landing page?
I used a redirect as an initial test of the offer, so you don't have to.

    Aren't redirects bad?
In general, yes but they're great for testing new niches (which is what I did). :)

If I use a landing page, won't my conversion rate drop?
It can go either way. It all depends on how you pre-sell your visitors. I have landing pages that go either way. Even if your conversion rate drops, you should still be testing this type of offer on the search network once you've tested the content network's waters.

Will you just do everything for me and let me collect the profit?
    No.

Should I copy your campaign exactly and expect good results?
Hopefully not. When practicing the art of Affiliate Marketing, one must first test a market and when s/he sees that it is successful, develop a plan of attack from there. I've done the first part for you, now the easier part is up to you: build on it. You can try copying what I did and it might work for a while, but inevitably you'll have to build a landing page or you'll get Google Slapped. You'll also have to try other keywords, websites, etc.

I don't trust you because you have a elf avatar or who ever that character was in the 90's. When you sale a product its all about presentation.

Fascinating, but its increasingly hard to distinguish between truth and reality these days. But then again I could see no reason why you would fake this.

It was done by google adwords right? Was it by direct linking?

@ thecatalyst, that character you are talking about is Alf. Some kids had nightmares of Alf and feared him greatly. Did you fear Alf as well? :p Seriously, its just an avatar and not his business card. If his avatar had a pic of Michael Jackson or Boy George, then I might have some concerns. :D

@ Scott, thought you used more keywords then that! With some good keyword research, revenue could certainly climb.

I'd like to see someone test this and come back with a response. There's too many nay sayers in this forum, and some are right to do so. But common sense must prevail. There are *some* people here that will help one another, and I think Scott's motiviation is nothing less then sincere.
