Well there is a distance of 1500km between israel and iran.
a bombing means at least one time maybe 2 times air refueling.
i dont think israel have a bomber like B2 to travel 3000km without refueling.

bombing iran means crossing some hostile countries which is quite dangerous for air fuel tankers.

also US wont give israel a green light as long the oil price stay over 80$

Hizbullah used these soldiers to get back all lebanese prisoners from isreal, 199 dead & 5 alive (including Samir a 30 year prisoner).

so its considered (3-0) although isreal destoryed 5.3 billion $ of things and killed 300 children and 1000 people.

In a war Iran will try to hit as hard as they can. They can hurt Israel, but anyway with the US help Iran will be hurt much worse.
So expect retaliation from Iran anywhere in the world where they can hurt Americans or Israelis.
Plus stopping the OIL supplies from the middle east for quite some time, could be a year.

Iran has a big chance only if they can get enough of the Russian's S400 systems, plus other important milatary hardware such as 9K115-2 Metis-M ( Metis-M was used successfully by Hezbollah fighters during the 2006 Lebanon war against Merkava tanks.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9К115-2_Metis-M which they can send in Iraq and Lebanon and eventually Gaza that can hurt Israelis and Americans in Iraq.

They don't have to have big guns to hurt America or Israel.

IMO, sunctions should be the best weapon. NO WAR.
And it is about time Israel gives up her Atomic bombs so they can give a good example to everyone.

Israel can only use her nuclear bombs against a country that has none.
If Israel use them against any other country which posseses nuclear bombs (except pakistan), almost certainly there will be no more Israel.
France, England, or Russia will certainly shoot back with a few dozens and wipe her out if being hit by Israel.
This is a no joke weapon.

those tankers waiting on syrian/Jordan sky will be a good target for iranian F14 which are capable of carrying Phoenix missiles with a effective range of 184km.

 

It might have a number of long-range missiles but they have no accuracy at that distance - they're just as likely to go into the Mediterranean sea or the Negev desert then they are to hit Tel Aviv

2 Weeks to get eveyone back to base
2 weeks to mobilize
2 weeks to reorder essentials that they have run out of
About six weeks to come up to operational strength unless anything has changed in 10 years.
They would be coming up with strategies as this is going on

Israeli Battle Plan
72 hours after declaration Israeli special forces would have disabled
Main supply routes, power, water, and telecommunications, plus assassinated key targets
96 hours later batteries of SAMs would start to mysteriously explode, as they are painted red by forward air controllers, smart bombs etc.
168 hours later the first Merkarva tanks would be smashing into the first wave of Iranian Armour, who, yes, you are right, there are hundreds of them. They would fight bravely, but supported buy Helicoptors, ground to air etc, even the Iranians, seasoned by years of conflict, would start to route.
The war would be won inside 4 weeks, by Israel.
The result would be catastrophic for Israel financialy, taking years to pay this off.
This is also finacially the wrong time to wage a war for Israel, but it would be good for the US weapons industry whom never seem to run out of money or free credit.
But it would be another Vietnam of long term conflict

 

Israel cant hold Iran.
Iran is 70 times larger, its population is 10 times Israel.

The land attack will be special forces only, no tanks...

US will stay away unless Iran attacks Israel back.

Previously tanks would have gone via an Arab sympathiser via rail and joined Arab forces, but I cannot see this happening.

In 1973, Yom Kippur war, we lost 102 planes and the Arabs lost 432 planes. we wouldn't supposed to lose those planes at all but the attack in the middle of Yom Kippur was a big surprise.

Iran cannot use any "semi nuclear weapons". The moment it uses they will give the justification cause for its destruction. And US has enough of firepower to do it.
Bridges, airports, power stations, major factories, ports etc. will be destroyed as US did in Serbia and Iraq. Should Iran uses "dirty" bombs.
And there are idiots on both sides who are willing to fight as dirty as they can and thus will put all of us in great economic difficulties. So the "semi nuclear weapons" option to fight against US or Israel won't be used.
OIL prices will go probably $500 per barrel if a war breaks out that's a serious NO NO for any sane person, but Israel I am almost sure doesn't care. (Israel has demonstrated time and time again tremendeous amount of selfishness which at the end hurts US .....)

War is not the answer for sure. Tough sanctions should do the job. Iran should be allowed probably to only export oil and get food and medication. The whole world should stop doing any business with them or as little as possible.
Iran is not that kind of a country that can survive on its own resources.

Israel should allow Palestinians to have their own country, and US should leave Iraq and let them rule themselves.
These are two of the greatest injustices in the world right now that fuel terrorism against America.

 

i didnt clarify which country is going to use semi nuclear weapons, i meant that isreal will use them, to destroy bigger areas in iran, we all dont want war, we want to survive, but im telling you honestly, a war must happen to cool everything down, this is logic.
