Is it Good to Submit An Article in Hundreds of Directory?

Hello, Members,

I have question/doubt regarding article promotion.

Can i submit the same article in Hundreds of article directory..

Lets say more than 100, 200 or more than that...

As far as i know about article submissions,
it's good to submit in 5 major article sites.

Please clear my doubt, and what to do...

you need to submit your websites to Directories, and article should be in article submission sites!

Maybe it will be bad for the article site because of duplicate content but for your site you will benefit from the back links to your site,
Back links from articles you write are one way links and they are relevant.
