This story is on a lot of news wires it seems but they deny it on the company blog I've heard? I'm still kind of suspicious the whole thing is a campaign by some one to damage the company.

This has been discussed before in a previous thread, given the convictions against their top brass, it seemed that they are cleaning up their act. Hopefully E-Gold will be as respectable as Paypal and provide a good alternative to it in the future.....

I see this discussed all over the place. I have never used eGold because it has always been risky and it is often touted by those in the scamming business. It would be nice to see them clean up their act and become a respected payment processor but for me, I trust Paypal more than any of services like eGold.

i got limited twice on paypal because my Web IP change everytime i restart my PC because my ISP use proxy.... so i got limited twice in the same week.. but when i contant paypal they give me the reason why i get limited and i explain them that my ISP use proxy and so there is nothing i can do to stop changing my IP and since then i haven't got limited... its been 8 month now and i login to my paypal almost every week and never got limited again.... so i think you need to ask paypal why they limited your account.... and once you know the reason you can explain to them.... and hopefully they will stop limiting your account.....

its true that all payment site have a dark side.... but egold cross the line and break there own TOS..... and so they pay for there action...
