How would I market a web hosting site??

Hey people, ive launched Nicobyte Web Hosting and ive put alot of money into it, however the people just are not signing up at the minute, i want to get people on there but im not sure how. At the minute i have only advertised by word of mouth and posts on here.

I know its difficult for you to launch a website off the ground but everyone has to start somewhere, i have general knowledge of seo but i really dont know where to start with this site.

I have about $80 to invest in this site at the minute, all ideas on how to spend the money will be welcome. Free ideas will be welcome more

And why did you open such site if you don't know what to do? Online business needs to be studied first before putting money in it...

 

No i know how to run sites as i have built and ran many sites, but i dont know how to market them, like i said im not a seo expert and i need help marketing it. Thats what i have asked for.

 

You could start off by submitting your hosting site to directories, you can always get some good submissions here at the Directories section.

You could also do some targeted advertising, maybe some local advertising. Pop into some local businesses and talk to them about your services.

For a hosting business have you thought about local advertising. I would look into business local to your area or bloggers.

$80 is not going to cut it in a competitive niche like hosting.

 

Thank you i will give it a go and see if i can get any users.

This is only a temporary budget untill i get more funds. I think i can market this sort of site on a small budget to start off with.
