I mentioned by blog above. It's in my signature "Technology Update". Today also he copied some more posts. I have reported to Google, Blogger, Google Adsense, but nothing seems working. I put Copyscape banner also. He is killing all my efforts to make this blog a success. He even copied the title of my blog. I can see from my statcounter log that this is someone from Morocco. How can i block this IP in blogger?
Did the author of the blog place a link back to your blog? Is yes, its not stealing! They just appreciate the beauty of your blog.
I dont need such appreciation, He is copying almost everything from my blog. Thanks Ankit for your post, but it did not help much. Google does not listen till you file DCMA complaints. it sucks.
Bump, I just wrote a post on this problem here. I got response from Google Adsense team and really as many suggested here, only DCMA is the hope, nothing more can you expect from Google in this regard.
Hi Sunil, Make sure that your original articles will index and cached first before those duplicate articles. That may improve your SERP's and warn that blog author by leaving a comment in this blog. and.. Blogger and Adsense can't do anything about this.. they didn't have enough time to respond to thousands of emails.
Comments are disable, Blogger profile not available, Blogger Navbar is hidden. Indexing and caching completly dependent on Google. One of my post was very well ranking on Google till the time that blog did not copy, as soon as he copied, My post lost somewhere in Google and his post top on Google because Google felt it fresh content on same topic. That's Google algorithm, atleast dates of posts can tell which article is original. Google should consider that also.
I think the only way to get action is to threaten legal action against blogger if they fail to have the offending information removed within 48 hours. Send a polite but firm email to blogger stating that unless this blog's information is removed you will have no choice but to sue them for hosting information that is breach of your copyright.
This blog not only copy posts from my blog but from Digital Inspiration( labnol.org ) also and many other blogs. Since i faced such a problem, I wrote a post on how to report a blog or website to Google for everyone who is facing problem either with SPAM blogs, Websites who copy the contents from other websites and websites you encountered problem during normal Google search. Sunil, I feel your pain. My blogs also get copied. And these copiers are very brazen, they really don't give a shit about the consequences. I suspect many who get banned from Adsense belong in this category. They cannot blame anyone but themselves if they get banned. Usually these are people who have little skills and knowledge in anything, actually. That's the typical profile. Just give it a little time. Google does act. The DMCA is a last resort, but even I think Google must be tired of dealing with so many DMCA notices....
