Read all about Quality score and implement that 4. don't go in bidding war with competitors. 5. Always keep profit in mind
I would suggest themed adgroups, go in as relevant as possible so you can target keywords to the ad and the ad to the best landing page. I would also bid on specific keywords for example if you sell rolex datejust watch you could bid more for keywords such as "rolex datejust" [rolex datejust] buy rolex datejust rolex datejust supplier It gives you more granular information about different keywords and their values, you will find each keyword will eventually have an optimal position and cpc as to maximise roi (return on investment) Also setup tracking and analytics!
Your 5 points sound good, don't forget to include your keywords in your ad text and landing page content which will help your Quality Score and conversions. Build your ad groups around sets of similar keywords (or one keyword) to make it really focused. Make use of your match types and use negative keywords to filter out impressions that aren't relevant - the Search Query Report in AdWords is good for this.

"1. Add max 20-30 relevant keywords" This is what I wished I'd done! Good advice. Don't forget to write 2 adverts for each keyword as well. Another idea - do a google search and identify your competitors - then look at the keywords they're bidding on. If they're not bidding it *may* not be worth it. Find the 20-30 they're bidding on and that's a good place to start!
Just a quick tip - It's a good idea to split test ads, writing more that one ad for each campaign/adgroup to compare click through rates, Google rewards higher click through rates and this is also a good way to gauge which ad grabs the most attention.

almir, good advice, but this will also push away potential customers.... simply because 90% only decide to buy AFTER reading the sales page... noone has made up thier mind when they click on a google adwords ad.. ..so yeah, good advice, but abit newbish.. not really if you want to make money... Better advice would be to add NEGATIVE KEYWORDS.. look on google how to do this (or my e-book lol)... you just add the negative keywords "-free" and anyone who writes free in their google search will not find my ad need any more help, pm me! :d
