Thats a pretty significant drop, however the rules make DP much more richer in content.

Oh wait we already do give infractions for that. Have you reported the posts that do that? We cant monitor thousands of posts a day.

Oh man oh man how I would love to rip into this thread...

The short version: MAKE IT A ONE MONTH BAN INSTEAD!

I'm uberglad.com that many of the idiots have been filtered, only 40000000 more to go... If there is one thing that has always bugged me about DP - it's the high tolerance to BS, Bad moderation, and inability to filter idiots faster. I think this place needs to make some digital points on how to send wicked fire to failed warreos and webmaster forumites, then you can 5star me all the way to a blackhatworld and i'll abw myself through a window. << If you missed all the 'reading between the lines...', then you probably belong here and should stay loyal to DP...

Finally - as stated before me - MUCH rather have LESS members and along with it LESS "Is clickbank scam?" or "PM me" or "click my shYt here" or "PM sent thank you" or "bump" or "insert pointless facking one liner response here"... good job for finally waking up.

oh yea im sure that when you started out you never asked all those question at all.
I bet you learned it all from yourself without the rest of us helping you.

You might want to think about others feelings and not just what you want

    high tolerance my ass....

the bhw community is much more friendly and a more easygoing community then dp. Although not as heavily traffic atleast they are more helpful to others then people like you..

if a noob wants to ask something then let him then dont be an ass and say wrong place i reported you. Cause thats what i see as the first reply

and if your calling these other forums a failure you might want to look into buy sell and trade section and try out that sextoy someone is selling

    1. Thx

    2. No, I didn't do what 90% of the people here do, I read a lot, I pressed the 'search' button, I didn't post BS bumps or ask really dumb questions. This forum needs more stickies and more mods - and this was my way of saying 'finally you guys are doing something about it - great'.

    3. I never insulted anyone with a sextoy or name calling - bitch <<ok once

    4. If you knew how to read between the lines, you'd see that I'm actually praising all those other forums not dissing them - i belong to them all including bhw and I enjoy it more than here.

    5. Feel free to have a read through my last oh say 20 posts, and tell me I'm still not helpful.

    Staff as in moderators?
There were loads of them promoted just a few months ago.

But I agree with you on the rest.

I think it's like everything else, there is an ebb and flow. When rules change they will rub some people the wrong way but they will attract others. It all balances out in the end. I agree though, I would prefer quality over quantity. I personally don't see anything wrong with posts such as "PM me" but if those are the rules, I can abide by them because I get a lot of work here.

Yeah, he needed to hire staff as a tonne of them quit.

Go through the mods list and look at who is active in mod duties. Shannon, Jenn, Aaron and Sarah are at it all the time. The rest never visit or don't do that much from what I've seen.

It's all about the quality, not quantity of members/traffic. I rather have a couple people posting then an army of spammers and scammers.

I agree, User Accounts, Currency Exchanges and VCC's brought more visitors to DP, but also brought more scammers.

If the reduced number of visitors stands for less scammers, less people who can't put a simple English sentence together, and less idiots who try to sell their crappy $1 per day websites for $300, then I'm all for it.

Seriously, I can't seem to find a good site to buy anywhere on the BST. :/

If a thread is in wrong category would you just move it or ban/give an infraction to a member (and lose that member)?

Yes, I know it is just one member but this happens several times on DP everyday.

And I don't believe everyone who doesn't read the rules is "stupid". They may haven't noticed the rules thread etc. If the mods wanted to make more people read the rules they would simply put a link to the rules in their sig

Now what, will you give me an infraction because I am not agreeing with you
Is that written in the rules?

Heehee. That about sums it up. Us "oldies" who have been here a while notice the rule changes and generally stick to them.
New members who do not read the rules are exactly as you describe.

I have noticed something though. I personally have started using DP a lot more again since the new rules were applied. Something must be working!

I can't think of any baned member whose contributions I miss. Also, I am nearly positive Shawn does not care what the Alexa ranking is.
