Hey guys i am starting to use adwords to get some traffic to my web site and for some reason i am getting min bid per click of like $12, 6$ and 0.60 all the keywords are related to the page were they will take the person ad has keywords in title and ad body same with the page title the users will be taken to. I dont know why my QS is saying poor?
Check what google says,why is your QS poor.Maybe your page content isn't relevant or your page loading time isn't fast. But i think that your keywords aren't relevant and google has penalized you with high min. bids. Recommend you to check your keywords. How much keywords you have?
If you have a poor quality score even before the ads have started to show it is most likely that your keywords are not relevant to your landing page. Atleast google thinks so.

Thanks for PMing There are several issues just by glancing at the page 1. You have adsense on the PPC landing pages 2. No contact us page 3. No privacy Policy 4. You have unnecessary outbound links to possibly controversial websites As you all can see, these are several landing page errors... These are reasons for $6 and $12 min bids
Outbound links ARE necessary, just make sure they're to authority sites. You have to do basic seo now on landing SITES to avoid googles "stupid tax" aka the quality score.
If you have irrelevant keywords in campaign list then remove that. also enter your main keywords in meta data and in title of landing page. this will help you getting some better quality score.
Sometimes when I've created new adverts and added the keywords Google has straight away come up with a Poor rating for my keyword. I just delete it and start again modifying the advert until it comes up with an OK or even better the ubiquitous GREAT!
landing page relevance is key. if need be create a new landing page for the theme you are trying to dramatically lower click costs for. qs is all about relevance from the landing page -> keyword -> adgroup -> campaign. remember qs is only half of the determinants for your click costs. bid amount being the other.
As others have said, you'll need to work on your landing page to make it more relevant to your keywords and ad-text to avoid the Google slap.
No I don't have seo and ppc confused. You simply have to make your landing site resemble a real legit website now or you WILL be slapped and slapped hard. That means outgoing links to authority sites, that means incoming links for other sites, hopefully with good anchor text. A site that is fully seo'd and indexed on the first page of the serps will automatically do better then one that isn't. Sure there are tons of other factors like ctr that play a huge role, but google really doesn't want their surfers to be able to tell the difference between a paid ad click and a free organic listing click. As seen by them not meeting analysts expectations last quarter, it seriously affects thier income and stock price. They are just protecting their income stream. Try looking at things from their point of view, you'd do the same. So instead of saying "it doesn't matter", just give them what they clearly want.
just a thought: not sure how in the world Google calculates the QS but I have this website where I rank first for this keyword on Google.com and yet the QS is "OK" for the same keyword. Is relevant enough to be ranked first by Google but not enough for a "great" QS?
Who told you all this? Are you making it up or just assuming google might do that one day? Everything you said is completely false and wrong. None of those things are needed and a website that naturally ranks in the SERP does not automatically do well in PPC. Which site are you referring to that does this I would like to see it? Please post the url of a website that is in the top 10 for SERP and is using the same SEO landing page for PPC... Please post that link, because I don't believe it and I have had clients with good SEO pages who got slapped with poor QS due to the way the SEO page was laid out
I agree that good SEO does not automatically result in a good ppc page but I don't think that is what Coach was getting at. We all know that Google wants to favour 'real' websites, not affiliate landing pages, one pagers etc. This is the reason why we all add pages like Privacy Policy, About Us, Contact Us, Terms of Service, relevant articles etc because it makes our sites look more natural as opposed to a 'bridging' page. Outbound links are a big part of looking natural. Google likes the fact that you're linking to high trust sites in your niche because you are offering more sources of information to your visitor. This is what a 'real' site would do. I've done split tests on this only recently and I can tell you with confidence that having relevant outbound links to high trust sites help QS. Even if you don't believe me, surely we can agree that outbound links to quality sites doesn't hurt your QS? So what would you have to lose?
