0 Clicks and 0 Impressions? Whats Going On?

I created my first adwords campaign yesterday. It said my estimated clicks per day would be 80 and I used 10 popular keywords.

This morning I checked my stats and It said 0 clicks and 0 impr. Both my campaigns say they are active. Does anyone know Whats Going on? Does it take over 24 hours for a campaign to actually go live?

 

Every Sunday since I can rmember this question has popped up.

Yes, your ads have to be approved and not everyone works on a Sunday. You just have to wait.

....or maybe I am wrong,didn't think about this possibility:

You sad that you have 10 POPULAR keywords,and your campaign is active.Maybe your ads are not showing on the first page of google adwords because of the huge competition for that keywords.

Check if your ads are showing,a campaign can be active but your ads are not displaying.

Log into your google adwords account,go to Campaign managment-campaign summary-click on your campaign name-click on your ad group name-next too your keywords(right) you will see a little image with a magnifier just get your mouse over it-a box will open and you can see if your "add is showing?" and why not if it isn't showing.

Due to High Competition your Bids might not be enough to compete and show your ads on Page 1. That may be the reason

 

Yup, I agree. Based from my experience, you'll not able to get clicks & impressions if the keywords you've used are very competitive but then your bids are not enough.

I suggest that you review your keywords and find other relevant keywords but not very high in competition. You can use Adwords Traffic Estimator if you want to see estimated clicks,cpc etc of keywords.

 

But it says I will get an estimated 70 clicks

 

I'm on your same boat, no impressions. I don't think your problem is the bidding because for me I have the same setup on account A but I closed account A and moved all my campaigns to account B and now I have no impressions. Hopefully because they need to get approved and it was the weekend because I've been waiting days.

I cranked my bids up to 5 dollar a click and Im still getting no impressions. What the hell is going on?

 

Call them, I called them and they said my account was not activated. Maybe they are behind on activating new acounts?

 

Whats the number?
