If you have not heard about it Google it..........................com
    MSNBC.com
    CBS NEWS.com and so on........................

I have a few theory's on why all the bees are disappearing.Such as the government, aliens or maybe they are all just getting eaten up by the fly's and Massimo's like the rest of us.

The truth is I don't know and that's kind of scary and sucks.

What I do Know is that we will be in serious trouble soon if there are no honey bees..

So what do all of you think could be causing all of the Honey bees to disappear without a trace?

Many species are becoming extinct or endangered. There's no hope to them and the looting-poaching-polluting-deforesting species have won.

It could be some parasite such as microsporidia, or other pathogen. people are working hard to figure it out.

Probably all the foreign species that have been introduced, many placed in the states are now having issues with "africanized" bees which are basically very aggressive bees which take the niche of the American honey bee.

I think global warming is causing it.
Their disappearance is extremely dangerous, nature can't function properly without honey bees.

If it was radiation or some kind of a pesticide the bees should just die.......But where are their body's?

aren't radio waves used by cell phone towers disorienting them, causing confusion and inability to find the way which inadvertedly makes them perish one by one?

I think pesticides are to blame. If you read at the labels of various pesticides it says insects ( and bees are insects ) lose their orientation, get confused and die at the end.

We had major die off of bees where I line this year due to Pesticides from Bayer. Mainly from pesticides that were applied to the seeds of corn and that was done in the wrong way and all those pesticedes were carried to other near by plants where bees were gathering nectar. The bees then died in the hives, in front of the hives and outside the hives. This was proven in laboratory !

Now let's get back to pesticides and orientation. If it says on the label that insects die because they lose orientation and their nervous system is damaged and they cannot find food so they die at the end.
This can be the case why bees are nowhere to be found. Simply bees lost orientation and never find the way back "home". Those that find the way home then spread those chemicals throughout the hive ( nectar and pollen ) and other bees get "sick". And when bees get "sick" they fly as far away from the hive they can. This is so that they protect the colony from further spreading disease but many times it is too late

Someone asked where are their boddies. Oh my god ... bees fly as far as 3 miles ( mostly 2 miles ). Now go and find that tiny little bee on hundreds acres of land ...

There are other things like varroa mites that makes bee colony "escape" from the hive trying to find suitable home. As you can imagine it is very hard to find that colony afterwards on huge area within flying distance of the bees.

Check out on the internet for pesticides that kill insects ( bees ) that are used in agriculture. Our government already banned couple of those....If you ask me I would ban all chemicals in agriculture.

Ok I am a beekeeper myself and here are some photos of beautiful little creatures that rock my world making it sweeter every day :D

Warming should help the bees. If there aren't a few warm days where the break cluster and clean the hive, they get dysentery or freeze out from the cold.
