Have you seen this layout before?

I am almost positive that is what it is with some serious customizations
of course - but the footer is what reminded me.

 

I know the size of the footer is really cool I dont know what you mean by freshy ?

I'm glad you like the layout! I custom built the layout and design so its not from a template or anything. But I agree with master-mind, its really not that difficult. Check out a book called 'CSS Mastery' it helped me a lot when I was starting to build sites in CSS
