Why are people happy earning $10 a day?

Of course making 300$ a month isn’t enough for a day job. But let’s say you are a high school student. 10$ day means 6-7 beers a day! That would almost be a dream come true…being able to go out with your friends almost every night or have a 50-60$ weekend parties for doing almost nothing.
I’m personally happy to be able to pay for my car insurance with what I make from adsense and my earnings are increasing steadily.

 

$10 a day is better than $0 a day.

If I were making $10 a day, it would probably suffice as a part time income as pocket money and I'll be somewhere slogging at a full time job. So an extra $10 a day doesn't harm me.

 

Hi, I don't mind to have 10 bucks per day, I am blogging for fun, in developing countries I can feed poor peoples with 15 lunch box, isn't that worth? 15 mouths mate!

which brings me to a question. whats up with having huge families in developing countries?

its hard enough to feed, mind, grow and educate 1 child why have 3,4 or more mouths in a family?

$10/day from adsense is considered a accomplishment in blog world. I want to achieve that mark ($10/day) just to feel good. And than aim for a higher level.

I am a college student and the $250 that I earn from adsense monthly which is abt Rs 10,000 is great for me...
It's just extra money cos my expenses are still carried by my parents... so isn't that $250 enough for me ?

 

It's enough if you are in INdia especially if you still supported by parents.. I would say that's a hell of adsense accomplishment.

 

10$ a day is better than nothing. $300 a month is enough to pay my electric and internet bills.

Depends on which country you live, 300$ in india or Tanzania are totally different than 300$ in the USA

 

we all have to start somewhere. $10 a day is a good goal for beginners and it gives us a little spending money!

 

For some people, that $10 daily may be the difference between surviving and not.

Of course you will be happy that you are making $300/ month. If you were to open a bank deposit that yields 5% annually you'd have to invest $72,000 in order to produce the $3,600 annually that your adsense income will give you.
In addition to that, what would happen if you actually use this adsense income to put in stock and bond mutual funds and be able to retire several years earlier?

 

Adsense is not a primary income for almost everybody.

Therefore $10/day in passive adsense income is alot.

I'd be happy with that.
