    That's 5 times what I pay for mine - it's unacceptable.

I've got a bunch of domains with them and will be selling them all in the near future and transferring the ones that I'm going to keep. There's no way I'm paying that much for a domain. Yahoo is shooting themselves in the foot.

Good luck with that. Thats why they were selling them for 2.95 last year. Probably a big transfer fee as well. Always read the fine print.

    Yahoo is imploding.

    A quick Heads up

You must cancel your Yahoo "domain plan" once it is transfered or Yahoo will still charge you the $34.95. I am fighting this.

I did crying and screaming at once when I see the bill. Yahoo small business is not as "small" as the title now. Time to say goodbye to Yahoo!!!

Did you cancel the plan after transfering your domains? I think everyone that's going to move out from Yahoo (like me) should do cancel the plan with them or they will still charge you.

Can I still transfer my domain I have with Yahoo if it is 5 days past due? I just refuse to pay the $34.95 to yahoo.

No, you will have to pay Yahoo's extortion fee to keep your domain. After renewal, then you can transfer it. I wish it were otherwise, but Yahoo has designed this bait and switch according to ther $1.99 .com sales they made nearly a year ago.

I just hope this jump at Yahoo isn't a sign of things to come for everyone.

They told me they will keep charging until you delete the names from their panel. (or admin area)

if you keep them they will charge you.

Best is to complain to your credit card company.

First transferout all domains and then file a complaint.

    They suck big time.

Yes i know this is ridiculuos. I got charged 34.95 last week for one of my old domains which i originally got for a plan that was 1.99/year because it was an .info domain. And this is one of the domains i don't use.
