Forum Adsense?

    My forum got around 3,400 visitors last month and the previous month was around 2,100. I'm not really advertising it but it jumped by 1,000 visitors and no one is posting or registering (except me and 2 others). Should I put an adsense type mod on it?

    It averages around 80+ visitors/day I think.

    Edit: I got 136 visitors yesterday.

    You and I are close in numbers (doesn't help that I picked a bad niche). I've had adsense on my forum for a long time now and I can tell you it's slow going. Took me over a year to make my first 100$. My CTR is under 1%, but that's to be expected on forums.

    With a forum you need a lot of traffic to make any cash, returning visitors don't click on ads. Putting adsense on it is up to you, but it won't be a big money maker until you get more traffic. I put it on my site simply because I use the ads as part of the layout.

    I don't think you can earn a decent amount..so go for selling links/forum top banner spots and other things to earn money..but the traffic is not much so that wont fetch you a very high return but something is always better than nothing :D

    I would suggest you to go for it. You will earn pennies every day. But it does not hurt.

    Forums have a low CTR - under 0.2%.
    Sign up for a CPM network like cpxinteractive or something

    You cannot depend solely on one form of revenue from a Forum unless it has a massive amount of visitors say like this site.Try as other have said by adding a banner facility or even try Adbrite !!!
