Anyone use Text Link Ads anymore?

I have never tried it but i am curious about text-link-ads.com

what can you guys and gals tell me about it

 

I use it on one of my websites. I've made only about $4.00 from them this month. I think I could probably do considerably better by just selling blog posts or privately selling text links.

 

does google allow these on the same site as adsense

i thought google hated paid links

 

I use them.

Using the right words, along with a nice-looking picture works better than a fancy banner. I think, anyway.

Google will remove your pagerank and ban your site if you get *caught* using Text Link ads. Its a gamble whether you get caught or not.

 

I used it to buy links on a few blogs until I figured out I could get dofollow links on the same blogs by trackbacks and commenting.

 

Dont use any paid links. As you may get banned from google. please do ethical marketing

 

I don't understand that statement.
What exactly is "ethical marketing" where text links are concerned?
Doesn't seem to be a question of "marketing", but rather the utilization of one's site popularity to make income from others' pasted links.

As for textlinks.com tools, I had no idea Google hates the service and will demote PR on those using it.

 

And so what if they do? The webmaster first has to be lucky enough to even rank high, and the quality of traffic isn't that great anyway, so....

 

Some sites are good for traffic, others really suck.

But I can tell you my site got penalized pretty good by Google with regard to PageRank.

You're not going to get banned though. And there's certainly nothing unethical about it, just realize you'll be taking a chance.

Coz it only wasting money and its better if you use the money to spend at other advertising method
