I just got invited to become a ChaCha guide. I need to pass 2 Tests in order to be approved as a ChaCha Guide. Is there anyone here that has already passed these test and would be willing to help me if i need it?

I have passed both tests

well the assignment test is pretty easy

the SIM test is not that easy :

ok about the SIM test. It took me almost 2 hrs to answer 10 queries

yea i know one query only take less than 3 minutes

but the catch is, avoid answer questions that you don't think you going to answer it right

when i see a question that i am not confident with, i just avoid it

when i start to search a question, if i still can't find an answer for it, i will reject it as well,
I reject few of them within 3 minutes after i started to search for the answer

Try to use a source that that contain valuable texts
that is long and look professional.. and the web design is good enough

i got most of my souces from MSN, howstuffworks, etc

don't use wikipedia likes sites ever!

so far i only can tell you so much

because i don't know what to say now

Don't forget you only have one try for SIM test::: if you failed that you are done completely

bec You won't be able to sign up again since your SSN is logged
unless you going to use someone else's SSN to sign up for a new account

 

im now a CHACHA GUIDE.. just waiting for them to give me the right to answer questions... does anyone remember how long they had to wait after they passed the tests to answer questions?

 

I think I had to wait a couple of days before I got approved.

I find that being a guide is quite boring though. I thought it would be really fun and interesting but when people ask questions like, "what is a boob?" or "why doesn't anyone like me?" it's like c'mon, give me a break. lol

and you learn a lot of stuffs too

I learned many stuffs while answering incoming questions

i passed the 3 tests in the beginning. i took the simulator test yesterday.. i think i did a pretty good job i found all the right answers usually in under 2mins and i also thanks for using chacha or something neat at the end of each question i answered.

 

Can you please not promote anything in my thread? if you want people to join under you make your own thread.

 

yea this guy is kind of annoying, he bought back an old ChaCha thread that was like over 15 days old
i think he should get his rep down a big number

he is spamming all around

You have to wait for the ChaCha HQ to send a result back to you

Well, maybe not boring to you. Yes, those are easy and ridiculous questions to answer. If most of the questions were a little more intellectually stimulating it might be fun. I don't really learn anything from questions about what a boob is. Maybe they were referring to the Horton Hears a Who movie. Who knows. Anyway, of course some people will love it but it's not for everyone. I was giving my own personal opinion of it. Doesn't mean I thought everyone would feel that way. It was an IMHO type of review.

Yes, a lot of people will enjoy it if they get approved. A good incentive is that ChaCha has been having extremely high volume recently. I think they need new guides, desperately. So you're pretty much set if you apply and get approved. Plenty of questions to answer and plenty of money to make.
