Everything i do is from leads. And because i make no sales/because i don't promote sales, only leads. I got an email saying account will be deactivated!
Two things: The amount per year you have mentioned is too small. If you said "I make this much a month", that would be more interesting. Two: Why are they deactivating your account exactly?
Because everything i promote is leads. Not sales. Its weird because i have been with these companies for a year. And i know 1 makes big profit from me. I might have to give CJ a call. I think they might have made a mistake.
Terry it said because of leads instead of actual sales. Which i thought was weird because companies make profits off leads and have through me for a while. ? I sent them a PM saying it was discrimation against those focusing on leads and i would be willing to hire an advisor to help settle this. Wrong move?
psst, n00bie, that comes out to over $1,000 a month, not even close to being 'too small.' 'Too small' would be more like being inactive generating no leads.
companies dont make profit off leads, leads are used to potentially make profit. If you are sending them leads that are never converting to profit for them .. why should they pay you?
SO...this is crazy, unfair and it shouldn't be called COST PER LEAD, or CPA because they say cost per action (person must sign-up for free, put their email and confirm THEN THEY ARE A LEAD and you get paid.. THIS IS IT!) - A LEAD is someone who is interested on the offer and not someone who is interested + buy the product... otherwise it should be called a SALE only. I am new to this thing, I have received money from CJ but I have learned a few points I want to make: 1 - You don't know if the networks robs you by not showing some leads/sales that you might have made... 2 - You don't know if the merchant robs you by not crediting some of your leads/sales... 3 - A merchant or network can at anytime say that you are generating too many bad leads and just ban you... 4 - If you are 100% sure that you made a sale ( lets say you bought something from your own link using a friends computer, which is fine....) it might not show up and when you complain they can just tell you that probably the sale didn't come from your link and bla bla bla... 5 - NOW they created this...if you have too many leads but you don't show up with some sales you get banned from that offer or have your account closed, SO THEY MUST write that you have to bring lets say 1 sale for every 5 leads etc if you want to get paid and NOT just say that YOU WILL GET PAID for each lead that completes a 1 page offer, email etc... I realize that to be very, very, very confident that I will get paid I must sale something and not work with leads, BECAUSE WE ARE NOT IN CONTROL OF ANYTHING, we don't even know if we will have our accounts up and running tomorrow THAT'S THE TRUTH. If we work with sales is another thing...more guaranteed. TelevisionShows you made a good amount of money but I will tell you its FU*KI*G UNFAIR what they have done to you.
I receive a paid receipt from my clients for activating a service through CJ. Almost 15% of the receipts are not reported to my by CJ and I always need to contact the account manager to get these added on to my account.
Yes that's what I am saying...I am thinking that if you make your own leads then sell the product to them, you have their contact information and you can ask them for the purchase receipt so you can get your commission from CJ just in case it doesn't show up...that's the best way to do business. Thank God I noticed this before I get burned, I would be very mad if I got hundreds of leads after spent money and time on advertisements to end up with no commission, NO WAY, JOSE!

Yes. Its actually illegal. I mean how can they distinguish between, if A) Im promoting the sales and not getting any. Or B) which is me. Just promoting leads. I think it is an accident. Im waiting for a reply. I got a confused reply which they will further clarify they said. Very weird lol.
well if that's the case My account should have been deactivated long back since may 08 I am a CJ affiliate of shame, who has not even made a lead or a sale.
If they don't want u,then just move and join other CPA networks,there are many better networks than CJ,i personally do not like CJ as they do not have live tracking system.
