Have you applied for Google Affiliate Network? Now, CJ has found its worthy nemesis. Do you think Google's entrance into Affiliate Marketing would improve affiliate marketing in general?
Google bought Connect Commerce http://www.connectcommerce.com/global/login.html So Google Adsense Referrals is going away end of August Which is why I joined NeverblueAds
Google will remove all referrals: Adwords, Adsense Referrals, Product Referrals. All referrals will be placed under one program perfectly named "Google Affiliate Network".
Google Affiliate Network is one of my clients, or is about to be, so I can shed some light. Google bought DoubleClick Performics quite some time ago. Performics was one of the top 3 affiliate networks and has been around for a really long time, so you may have already joined it at some point. Connect Commerce is just their tracking platform. Then on June 30th they changed the name from DoubleClick Performics to Google Affiliate Network. Here is the full announcement with all of the details.
