Sorry if this have been discuss before, but right now I was trying to make decision of where my blog is heading to in terms of blog topics. Right now, it's kinda mixed bag, too many topics that I think may be bad for SEO and search engine.

How many blog topics are the maximum for better SEO and good search engine results?

I've had blogs do well with 10 or so posts per day, but I also have pretty good luck when it comes to ranking. I think you are pretty safe with around 5 posts per day with good, unique content. You're blog looks really good.

Hi Trypp, thanks for the reply and your nice comment about my blog. But my question is I was thinking to cut the topics that I'm blogging about into let's say just 3 or 5 at maximum. Right now I'm blogging about environment, animal, graphic design, interior, architecture, entertainment, hobby, and some more :D Too many blog topics are not good I think.

    Any suggestion?

Well it would be better if your blog has a niche. For example you have an SEO blog but you can also categorized every topic of SEO into, Link Building categories, Keywords Analysis, and etc.

Depends, in theory you can have as many topics as you want. You just need to make sure the internal structuring of your site is based correctly to each topic. This involves but is not limited to internal linking, content structuring and in content linking. I've seen wide variety topic blogs and websites excel in search results. Remember, unique quality content is the king of kings.

Well restricting the topics on the blog to 3-5 would be a good idea. This would help you in keeping the attention of readers you may just be interested in that particular topics. having too many topics would divert attention and people may not like it. The readership may suffer.

The most important thing is the keyword that you use in your website. Even though your topic is only limited to your nichie but if the words / phrases that you use are never searched by the visitors of Google you will never get result.

That's it! Thanks for your suggestions. I think I may need to restructuring my categories first, and see if there's anything that I can deleted later.

Thanks for all suggestions guys! About car, I don't know much about it, I'm more into design and environment :)

Now, I have decide to concentrate in 5 categories, more easier for me to maintain and I know about them quite well so I can make more quality contents.

I agree, too many topics is hard for your readers to connect to, unless you structure it really well

    Your blog looks cool
Initially stay focused and write on topics which you like and know about
    Slowly diversify into other niches
    Create sections for different topics
    You should be fine then
But adsense earnings (CTR) will be less if you have too many topics or niches on the same domain
But on the other side having large variety of topics can draw traffic in hordes
