    Hi,

    I have developed AWS application.
just want to ask here, should I place buy from amazon button
    in item detail page ?

or better to just leave only my add to cart button?

    this is my site http://www.bookstorebyclick.com
any improvement should I do with this site ?

    thanks in advance:)

Its important to give your visitors the options of buying directly from Amazon or from your own cart. Keep the buy from amazon button, you'll earn more that way.

I hadn't given much thought about offering the option before. It had been drilled in how important it is to keep customers on my site; but, if they just want a single item offering the option might be the way to go. I would be interested in seeing several associates weigh in on this.

Keep in mind, you can always run what's called an A/B test, and only show the option to a portion of your visitors, and then just check the results. This way you have a more scientific way of testing, versus getting someone's opinion. I did my testing that way and found that my sales increased when made the buy button available. People like choice, so why take it away from them.

    Hope this post was useful.

    thanks,

I usually say something like "Click Here To Order on Amazon" or "Click Here to Read More on Amazon." I also typically mention Amazon's low prices, easy return policy, and free shipping (if applicable). I'll also mention that books can be bought even cheaper from third-party Amazon sellers or when used.

The name of the game is to get readers to Amazon in a way that has them in the mood to buy. I think of myself as a retail salesperson without a douchebag boss.
