    Hi all,

I just want to know, "How is JaguarPC hosting company is?"

I looked at their shared hosting package and its awesome.

    http://www.jaguarpc.com/shared-hosting/

You can get 50GB space in start and then you can upgrade for more space for FREE

But how good is that hosting company is?

If I buy hosting in future, should I consider this company as a reliable hosting provider?

    Any feedback about it?

If I'm not mistaken, they have stipulations about what kind of files that you can host.

Ah here it is, took me a while to find their TOS, they don't make it easy to find:

The Company is the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. Clients will not use more than 30% of a systems resources for longer than 1 minute or more than 55,000 inodes on any single account. You may not use your shared or semi-dedicated accounts for file storage of other accounts, backups, storing backups of dvd's, mp3's, or any files larger than 150mb. Large and plentiful files used in this manner on an active system can cause file system corruption and lead to not just your own data loss but that of others.

So although they give you 50GB of diskspace, it could be hard to utilize it. Other than that, I think they've had good reviews.

I am sorry but what actually does it mean?

I mean, I will not have anything BIG on their servers. My files are simple html files and I have a forum which I am thinking to host on their servers (in future) cause they are allowing unlimited disk space, so when my forum will grow and will need more space I will not have to pay more.

I will not use their disk space as backup of any other account, will I still be in trouble?

Don't be sorry :), it's a little hard to understand sometimes. You probably wouldn't get in trouble unless, if a database gets bigger than 150MB, then you could get in trouble that way. It depends on if they count that as a file.

Personally, I would talk to JagPC about it, and see what they say. Since you have a forum, just about all your stuff will be in a DB, and you might not be able to grow much.

Hi. Jaguar has been in the market for a fairly long time and I know a friend who is hosted with them but currently looking elswhere. They are not bad but not very good either. For the price they charge, they could offer much better. hope this helps. jim
